HOW CAN I DONATE TO THE DESSERT DASH THIS YEAR?
We are working with Love By The Slice, a wonderful local bakery that believes deeply in supporting the South Sound community, to offer desserts that will be available for purchase and will be delivered to the auction site for you. You can also choose to donate a homemade dessert or a dessert from another bakery. For homemade desserts and desserts not from Love By The Slice please make sure the dessert is on a serving platter you DO NOT NEED BACK and plan on delivering it to Tin Can Alley between 11:00 and 1:00 on April 30, 2022. No frozen desserts, please--desserts should be able to sit out without refrigeration.
Whether you are donating a dessert from Love By The Slice, a dessert you make, or a dessert from another local spot please be sure to sign up by clicking this link to help us keep track of how many have been donated.
If you decide to have your dessert created by Love By The Slice:
1. Check out Love By The Slice's menu (which includes cookies, cakes, puddings, dipped berries, and more!) and decide what you would like to donate to the auction.
Tips for ordering online:
- Step 1: enter an address (can be Tin Can Alley or your home address doesn’t matter).
- Step 2: choose curbside pick-up. This is the bakeries address and as long as in the notes section you wrote Spirit Auction for Charles Wright Academy on April 30, 2022 the dessert will be delivered to the event on your behalf, and you will not be charged shipping/
- Step 3: pay and complete order.
2. Register the dessert you ordered here to help us keep track of donated desserts.
3. Call Love By The Slice (253) 588-2253 before April 22, 2022, and let them know you are wanting to purchase a dessert for the Spirit Auction for Charles Wright Academy on April 30, 2022. They will be happy to talk through your order with you and get it all set.
4. Alternately, you may order a dessert online, please just note in the comments the dessert is for the Spirit Auction for Charles Wright Academy on April 30, 2022, and select "pickup" as your delivery method.
5. Love By The Slice will take it from there...they will deliver it for you to Tin Can Alley on the day of the Spirit Auction!
